The rise of virtual influencers

We’ve heard that AI is taking over our jobs. Now, our AI counterparts might be becoming more effective influencers too. An NTU prof sees them as safe choices compared to humans, who may be involved in scandals. Virtual influencers can also be customised to meet the needs of brands and might have novel appeal to consumers. The question is, would you follow one?
