NTU left His Royal Highness Prince William thoroughly impressed during his visit to the EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy last November. “You’ve blown my mind,” he exclaimed, surprised by a startup that had sent a satellite with a plasma thruster – a bold new type of fuel-efficient engine – into orbit. He seemed similarly impressed by the other disruptive innovations showcased by startups incubated at the labs during his tour.
